The defense characterized the reported income-expense gap as a “residual gap” and disputed previous renovation cost estimates for a property in Indio Cuá.
Following this submission, Federal Prosecutor Gerardo Pollicita confirmed the existence of the eight Bitcoin addresses and noted that the Argentine Federal Police have conducted a cryptographic verification process. To further the investigation, Adorni’s defense presented the private access keys and a computer to the prosecutor to verify the existence of the accounts and the defense’s current control over them.
On October 2, 2026, the prosecutor requested a 29-point technical report from the Argentine Federal Police's Cybercrime Department.
