Manuela Moreno overcomes injuries and mishaps on Ballando con le Stelle
Journalist Manuela Moreno faced multiple setbacks during her performance on the Italian dance competition Ballando con le Stelle. During rehearsals for a Halloween-themed Cha Cha to the song ‘Thriller’, her dance partner, Carlo Aloia, accidentally struck her in the left eye with his elbow. Moreno shared a video of the incident on Instagram, which also showed the resulting black eye.
During the live broadcast on Saturday night, a second mishap occurred when Moreno’s hair extensions became entangled in Aloia’s jacket. She had to quickly move her head to free them, a moment captured by cameras but largely unnoticed by the audience. Despite these challenges, the pair completed their routine with a notable finale in which Aloia lifted Moreno into the air using only one hand.
