Manufacturing leaders prepare for IMTS 2026 technology showcases

Major manufacturing technology providers are preparing for the IMTS 2026 exhibition at McCormick Place in Chicago, scheduled for September 14–19, 2026.

FANUC America will showcase advancements in robotics, automation, and CNC technology. A primary focus will be Physical AI, where the company is collaborating with NVIDIA, Google Cloud, and AWS to develop robotic systems capable of perceiving and adapting to real-world manufacturing environments.

ZEISS Industrial Quality Solutions will demonstrate measurement technologies designed to provide actionable data. Their showcase includes multisensor coordinate measuring machines, 3D scanners, and AI-assisted analysis software intended to help manufacturers manage complexity in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, and medical industries.

DMG MORI will host Chicago Innovation Days, featuring a series of Meet the Machine demonstrations. These sessions, led by engineers, will provide technical insights into various machine types, including turning, 5-axis machining, and additive manufacturing technologies.
