María Corina Machado willing to seek dialogue for Venezuelan elections
Claudia Macero, spokesperson for Vente Venezuela, stated that opposition leader María Corina Machado intends to return to Venezuela to organize citizens and foster agreements aimed at securing a democratic electoral process. Macero emphasized that Machado’s goal is to mobilize the population to demand freedom and a clear vision for the country's future.
Macero also indicated that Machado is willing to engage in dialogue with acting president Delcy Rodríguez if such contact facilitates free elections and accelerates the democratic transition. While Machado has not received a formal invitation to join existing dialogue tables between the 2015 elected National Assembly and regime-linked sectors, her camp remains open to initiatives that benefit the country's liberty.
Additionally, Macero rejected suggestions that presidential elections could be postponed as far as 2030 based on political shifts in the United States, arguing that the electoral process should not be conditioned by foreign political timelines.
