Mara Venier adds youth talent segment to Italy's 'Domenica In

The Sunday flagship programme 'Domenica In' on Rai Uno will feature a new segment dedicated to a youth talent show. Each episode will host a performer under 29 years old—singers, dancers, comedians or other acts—who will appear live in the studio and gain national exposure. The segment is part of a broader refresh of the show, which also includes on‑air visits to families at lunch, variety performances, and interviews with VIP guests.

The revamp was announced by the programme’s host Mara Venier and her editorial team, with additional input from presenter Enzo Miccio and journalist Tommaso Cerno. The changes aim to attract younger audiences while maintaining the traditional mix of interviews and news‑focused discussions that define the long‑running Sunday show.
