Maranhão candidate Eduardo Braide backs state deputy pre‑candidate Yuri Corrêa and attacks governor over Caxias road‑way

Eduardo Braide, a pre‑candidate for Maranhão governor, confirmed Yuri Corrêa as his state‑deputy pre‑candidate for Codó and the surrounding region. Braide highlighted plans to build a specialized TEA centre for children with autism, a macrorregional hospital, and to pave the MA‑123 highway.

Separately, Braide criticised Governor Carlos Brandão for allegedly spreading fake news about the progress of the Avenida Pirajá widening project in Caxias, claiming the site was inactive. Brandão responded that the site was quiet because work pauses on weekends and that the project continues at full speed, citing recent road completions as evidence.
