Maranhão political activity: Brandão draws crowds as Renan Santos cancels event

Meanwhile, presidential candidate Renan Santos canceled a scheduled campaign appearance in São Luís due to health issues. Santos reported suffering from a fever, potentially caused by recent travel through the Northeast. Despite the cancellation, Santos expressed his intention to return to Maranhão to continue his campaign tour.
