Misiones Police seize phone to track fugitive ex-police general

Police in Misiones, Argentina, have seized a Motorola mobile phone and recovered WhatsApp conversations during a raid in Posadas aimed at locating retired Police General Adolfo Miguel González.

González is currently a fugitive facing an arrest warrant related to allegations of sexual abuse. The operation, conducted by the Cybercrime and Complex Investigations Directorates under the orders of Judge Juan Manuel Monte, involved inspecting electronic devices at a residence on Lavalle Avenue.

Investigators are analyzing the seized digital evidence to reconstruct González’s recent movements, call logs, and contact networks to assist in his apprehension. The Misiones Police continue to search for the former official and have requested public assistance via the 911 emergency line.
