Marche region posts 0.9% GDP growth in 2025, beating national average

The Svimez report shows that the Marche region ended 2025 with a 0.9% increase in Gross Domestic Product, higher than the Italian national average of 0.5% for the same period. The growth is attributed to strong performance in industry, construction and agriculture, bolstered by a sharp rise in public‑investment projects.

Public works spending in the region more than doubled, up 103.2%, as funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan were directed toward infrastructure, post‑earthquake and post‑flood reconstruction, and other community projects. The report highlights a broadly based expansion across key sectors and notes the region’s effective use of allocated resources.
