Marcin Horała elected Deputy Marshal of the Sejm

Marcin Horała, representing the Rozwój Plus association, has been elected as a Deputy Marshal of the Sejm. His election was supported by members of the Civic Coalition (KO) and the Polish People's Party (PSL), a move that has drawn criticism from Law and Justice (PiS) leadership.

Jarosław Kaczyński suggested that the selection of Horała by Mateusz Morawiecki's faction, in coordination with the current governing coalition, indicates a shift in political alliances. Critics within PiS argue that bypassing the second-largest parliamentary club for a deputy marshal position violates parliamentary custom.

Horała, a former government plenipotentiary for the Central Communication Port (CPK), is described as a key asset for Morawiecki's new political formation. He is also noted for his ties to President Karol Nawrocki, who reportedly holds him in high regard due to their shared history in the Pomerania region.
