Italian law enforcement sees multiple leadership changes

Several leadership changes have occurred within Italian law enforcement agencies across various provinces.

In Crotone, Colonel Dario Pini has assumed command of the Carabinieri provincial headquarters. He introduced a new team of officers, including Captains Marco Mastrovito, Gabriele Migliano, and Alessio Andolina, focusing on organized crime prevention and community proximity, particularly with youth and the elderly.

In Caltanissetta, Vice Questore Marco Alletto has been appointed to lead the Squadra Mobile, succeeding Rosario Scalisi. Alletto, a native of the province, will focus on organized crime, common crime, and white-collar investigations.

In Salerno, Gianni Albano has taken over as the head of the Squadra Mobile, replacing Elvio Barbati. Albano brings investigative experience from his previous roles in Cosenza and other regions. Consequently, Giuseppe Valerio has been appointed to lead the Squadra Mobile in Cosenza, succeeding Albano.

Additionally, Baldassare Alberto Capobianco has been named the new head of the Sestri Ponente police station in Genoa, replacing Antonio Pennacchio. His mandate includes securing key infrastructure such as the Cristoforo Colombo airport and the port of Pra'.
