Marco Bonilla sworn in as coordinator in Ciudad Juárez
Marco Bonilla was sworn in as the State Coordinator of the Defenders of the Homeland, Family, and Liberty in Ciudad Juárez. The event, attended by between 12,000 and 15,000 people, included political figures such as national leader Jorge Romero and Governor Maru Campos.
During his speech, Bonilla emphasized the need for economic justice for Ciudad Juárez, noting that the city produces 43% of Chihuahua's GDP. He pledged that resources generated by the city should remain in the city to fund essential infrastructure, security, and public services. Bonilla also invoked the democratic legacy of the 1986 'Verano Caliente' in Chihuahua, positioning his movement against the current concentration of power held by the Morena party.
