Marco Scajola advocates housing reform at Rome's Piano Casa cabinet

Regional assessor Marco Scajola of Liguria attended the first monitoring cabinet of the national “Piano Casa” programme in Rome, representing the Conference of Regions. He met with extraordinary commissioner Felice Squiteri, who outlined early steps of the plan and pledged rapid allocation of funds to start works by early 2027.

During a two‑day visit, Scajola also met the national president of Federcasa, Marco Buttieri, and Ministry officials convened by Minister Matteo Salvini to discuss coordination on public‑housing regeneration. A further meeting with Cassa Depositi e Prestiti officials was scheduled to explore collaboration on new homes for families.
