Marcos Rodríguez Pantoja, famously known as the 'niño lobo de Sierra Morena' (wolf child of Sierra Morena), has passed away at the age of 80 in Ourense, Spain.

Born in Córdoba in 1946, Rodríguez Pantoja lived for more than 12 years in total isolation within the mountains of Sierra Morena, surviving alongside wolves and other wild animals. His unique experience, characterized by a deep connection to nature and a specialized form of non-verbal communication, became a subject of significant scientific and anthropological interest.

His life story was documented in various media, including books and the 2010 film 'Entrelobos'. Following his discovery by the Guardia Civil in 1965, he underwent a difficult process of reintegration into human society. In his later years, he resided in the village of Rante in Ourense, where he frequently shared his life experiences with students and community groups.
