Marcy to perform theme song for Sota Fukushi drama

The band Marcy will perform the theme song for the upcoming Nippon TV Sunday drama ‘Hide and Seek: 0-byo no Kanojo’ (Hide & Seek: The Girl from 0 Seconds), which is scheduled to premiere on October 4.

Their first terrestrial continuous drama theme song, titled ‘Hikari’ (Light), was written specifically for the series. Composed and written by vocalist and guitarist Ukyo Yoshida, the track was inspired by the script and is written from the perspective of the protagonist, Yuichi Tsukura, played by Sota Fukushi. The song is described as a classic love ballad that expresses the protagonist's unwavering determination to protect his beloved, Sana, while being pursued by the state as a terrorist following a bombing incident.

The drama is based on the novel ‘0-byo no Kanojo’ by Masahiro Imamura. The cast includes Sota Fukushi, Ayari Shida, and Juri Tanaka of SixTONES.
