Margherita Hack Institute marks school dedication and new leadership

The Margherita Hack Comprehensive Institute is undergoing significant transitions. In Molteno, an official ceremony is scheduled for October 3, 2026, to dedicate the local primary school to the renowned Italian astrophysicist and science communicator Margherita Hack. The event will feature local authorities, the Santa Cecilia musical corps, and the “Deep Space” amateur astronomy group.

Separately, in Nova Milanese, Luigi Bellassai has assumed his role as the new school director for the Margherita Hack Comprehensive Institute. Bellassai, who brings experience from the Istituto Verga in Sicily, emphasized a community-focused educational approach centered on the principle of “I care,” aiming to ensure all students feel recognized and supported.
