Maria Dianežević-Bašić named top trainee in Croatian military training

Soldier Maria Dianežević-Bašić has become the first woman to be named the best trainee in the Croatian Army's specialist infantry and armored training. The intensive eight-week program, conducted at the Gašinci military training ground, concluded with a tactical exercise simulating modern battlefield conditions, including the use of FPV drones.

Dianežević-Bašić completed the training, which ran from September 1 to October 26, and will continue her career as part of the First Mechanized Battalion 'Tigrovi'. The Ministry of Defense noted that the training provided essential skills for combat units, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and technical proficiency in contemporary warfare.
