La Casa de los Famosos México: Mariana Ochoa named first finalist

The reality competition La Casa de los Famosos México has entered its final stages. On September 21, 2026, singer Mariana Ochoa secured her place as the first finalist of the season after winning a boutique-themed challenge involving the search for a golden jacket.

Earlier in the week, on September 20, actress Cynthia Klitbo became the eighth eliminated contestant after failing to secure enough public votes. Her departure followed weeks of emotional exhaustion and tension within the house.

During the competition, interpersonal dynamics have been a focal point. Mariana Ochoa and Ernesto Laguardia sparked discussion by revealing they had a romantic relationship over 20 years ago, though they offered differing accounts regarding whether Laguardia was seeing someone else at the time. Additionally, tensions rose between Laguardia and several other housemates, including Memo Schutz and Klitbo, regarding house budget decisions and strategic gameplay.
