Mariana Ochoa wins La Casa de los Famosos México

Overview

On October 4, 2026, singer and former OV7 member Mariana Ochoa was crowned the winner of the fourth season of ‘La Casa de los Famosos México’ after 71 days of competition. Ochoa secured the top spot with over 10 million votes, earning a prize of 4 million pesos. Her victory was marked by a significant comeback, as she had originally been eliminated in the first week before returning via the ‘El Exilio’ dynamic.

Following her win, Ochoa announced plans to use a portion of her prize money to support IPPLIAP, an institution she has collaborated with for 20 years that assists children with hearing disabilities by providing hearing aids. She also intends to invest in her independent musical career to finish her album and provide a home with a garden for her children and pets.

Ochoa has since addressed several personal and professional matters. She clarified that she considers former housemate Memo Schutz a colleague rather than a friend, and responded to comments regarding her departure from OV7. While her recent public appearance with ex-partner Mauricio Vaca Tavera fueled reconciliation rumors, Ochoa later confirmed during a Teletón broadcast that she has reconciled with her boyfriend. The couple had previously ended their relationship due to the conflict between her public life and his preference for privacy.

Additionally, Ochoa denied rumors regarding an early morning encounter with former OV7 colleague Ari Borovoy, stating, “They are rumors, they are rumors.” To celebrate her career and recent victory, she announced the ‘Amiga Tour’ starting October 17.

The season finale also generated controversy involving allegations by actresses Cynthia Klitbo and Arantza Ruiz regarding comments made by ‘Ese Pérez’, and social media disputes between Poncho de Nigris and Nicola Porcela regarding voting integrity.
