The municipality of Maricá reopened the Casa Darcy Ribeiro Museum on 4 July after renovations, offering free cultural programming that includes a breakfast event and the presentation of the União de Maricá samba‑enredo for the 2027 Carnival. Officials highlighted the museum’s role in preserving the legacy of intellectual Darcy Ribeiro and its integration into the broader “Caminho das Artes” cultural circuit.

In the neighboring town of Três Coroas, the Armindo Lauffer Municipal Museum reopened on 27 June following structural improvements, re‑organizing its historic collection of artifacts dating back to the 19th century. Local leaders stressed the museum’s importance for community identity and education.

The same municipality also launched the official “Turismo Três Coroas” app, a digital guide that compiles attractions, dining, accommodation and events. The platform, developed with artificial‑intelligence voice assistance, aims to simplify visitor planning, support local entrepreneurs and provide data for municipal tourism management.
