Mario Šušnjara Announces Participants for 311th Sinj Alka Parade

Alkarski vojvoda Mario Šušnjara has finalized the lineup for the 311th Sinj Alka, scheduled for 7‑9 August 2026 in Sinj, Croatia. The traditional alajčauš will be Ivica Filipović Grčić with deputy Tino Radanović, while Pavle Križanac will serve as harambaša of the alkarskih momaka, assisted by deputy Ivan Vladović. Marijan Pavlinušić has been appointed barjaktar and Davor Svalina will act as the vojvodin adjutant.

Seventeen alkari kopljanika are listed, including debutants Bože Poljak and Josip Maras, and the event will feature the farewell of long‑time participants such as Anđelko Vučković and Damir Vučković. The Alka will take place under the patronage of President Zoran Milanović, continuing the historic equestrian competition that is a centerpiece of Croatia’s cultural heritage.
