Marko Đurić declines to comment on Serbian diplomatic reshuffle claims
Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Đurić has declined to comment on allegations regarding upcoming diplomatic personnel changes, stating that such decisions are “strictly confidential.”
Borko Stefanović, Deputy President of the Freedom and Justice Party (SSP), claimed that high-ranking members of the Serbian diplomatic corps are migrating to well-paid positions abroad. Stefanović specifically alleged that Đurić is preparing to become the Serbian Ambassador to the United Nations in New York. He further claimed that other officials are slated for roles in Portugal, Miami, Moscow, and Herceg Novi.
In response to these claims on social media, Đurić dismissed the allegations as “idle dreams” and suggested that Stefanović should focus on his own party's status, noting that the SSP is expected to become a non-parliamentary party in the coming weeks.
