Marília Arraes launches Pernambuco tour after Lula backs Frente Popular

Lula’s public endorsement of the Frente Popular coalition in Pernambuco was affirmed in Brasília where pre‑senatorial candidate Marília Arraes met PDT leader Carlos Lupi, who said the support clarifies the state’s political landscape.

The next day Arraes began a multi‑city itinerary in the state’s interior together with gubernatorial candidate João Campos, Senator Humberto Costa and vice‑governor candidate Carlos Costa, holding political meetings, equipment deliveries and participating in June juni festivities.

In other regions, the Liberal Party (PL) candidates Nina Souza, Juninho Saia Rodada, Pedro Filho and General Girão intensified their pre‑campaign activities across Rio Grande do Norte, while in Piauí Governor Rafael Fonteles (PT) consolidated his re‑election ticket and opposition figures such as Joel Rodrigues (PP) pursued alliances with municipal leaders.
