Marmaris to host international Seafood Festival in October

The second Seafood Festival will take place in Marmaris, Turkey, from October 2 to 4. The event features a variety of international and local chefs presenting seafood dishes through live demonstrations.

Participating chefs include representatives from Turkey, Rhodes, Germany, and Croatia. Highlights of the program include Ramazan Narman’s ‘Salmon Beurre Blanc’, Rhodes-based chefs Giorgos Stergakis and Giannis Kountouris preparing ‘Karavida-Kuru Octopus’, and former German Chefs Federation President Thomas Gugler. The festival concludes on October 4 with Croatian Prof. Chef Dr. Dragica Dada Marcic presenting ‘Black Cuttlefish Risotto’.

In addition to professional demonstrations, the festival will showcase local Aegean flavors and offer tastings such as fish soup and mussels to visitors.
