Marmaris welcomes over 12,000 cruise passengers in a week

A Malta‑flagged cruise ship, Aroya, arrived in Marmaris on 29 June 2026 carrying 2,667 tourists and 1,067 crew members. The vessel docked at the town’s main pier, and passengers visited the local bazaar, historic quarter and yacht marina, with some joining a Dalyan tour.

The following two days saw the arrival of two additional mega‑cruisers. MSC Divina entered the port on 30 June with about 5,000 passengers and crew, while Mein Schiff 5 docked on 1 July carrying roughly 3,500 guests and staff. Together, the three ships are expected to bring more than 12,200 visitors to Marmaris within three days, creating a noticeable boost for shops, restaurants and other tourism‑related businesses in the district.
