Marriott expands luxury hotel offers and launches new reservation technology

Marriott International is promoting new discount and benefit packages for its luxury brands, including Ritz‑Carlton and St. Regis properties. Through the STARS and Virtuoso programs, TravelSort clients can receive offers such as up to 40% off, complimentary meals, resort credits, private airport transfers and room upgrades at locations like St. Regis Vommuli in the Maldives and the Ritz‑Carlton Hong Kong.

In parallel, Marriott announced a multi‑billion‑dollar investment to overhaul its property‑management, reservation and loyalty systems. Partnering with Amadeus, the company will roll out a central reservation platform that treats rooms and ancillary services like airline seats, allowing guests to purchase upgrades, spa treatments, golf, dining credits and other amenities during booking. CEO Anthony Capuano said the new system aims to increase revenue by merchandising a wider array of hotel attributes.

Both initiatives reflect Marriott’s strategy to boost guest experience and profitability across its global portfolio.
