Later the same day, Marriott announced broader discount and benefit packages for its luxury brands worldwide, offering up to 40 % off, resort credits and private transfers at venues like the St. Regis Vommuli in the Maldives and the Ritz‑Carlton Hong Kong. In parallel, the company revealed a multi‑billion‑dollar investment to overhaul its reservation and loyalty platforms with Amadeus, creating a central system that treats rooms and ancillary services like airline seats, enabling guests to add upgrades, spa treatments and other amenities during booking.
