Marsala hosts sports initiative for 1,000 students to combat addiction

Over 1,000 students from various high schools in the Trapani province participated in a sports-based initiative in Marsala designed to combat addiction and social distress. Part of the @LAB_SCHOOL project, the event featured inclusive sports such as basketball, tennis, taekwondo, equestrianism, rugby, and vortex throwing.

The program was held at the 37th Wing of the Italian Air Force in Birgi and was funded by the Sicilian Regional Department of Education and Vocational Training. In addition to physical activities, the event included psychological support and information services provided by the Vivi Sano association to help families address pathological dependencies. The initiative aimed to use innovative teaching methods to foster conscious citizenship among young people.
