Marshall Athletics Announces 2026 Hall of Fame Inductees

Marshall University’s Athletics Hall of Fame Committee has unveiled nine new members for the 2026 class. The inductees—Kellie Beckelheimer‑Wood (volleyball), Christian Brand (men’s golf), Jon Elmore (men’s basketball), Shayna Gore (women’s basketball), Mario Harvey (football), Michaela Kissell (tennis), Cody Slate (football), Morgan Zerkle (softball) and legend coach Otto "Swede" Gullickson—will be honored at a luncheon on Sept. 12, followed by recognition during the home opener against Middle Tennessee.

Vice President and Director of Athletics Gerald J. Harrison said the class “embodies the passion, perseverance, and excellence that define Marshall Athletics” and noted that the Hall of Fame will return to an annual format beginning with this class.
