Martin Zubimendi expresses frustration over limited Arsenal playing time

Arsenal midfielder Martin Zubimendi has expressed frustration regarding his limited playing time at both club and international levels. The 27-year-old Spanish midfielder noted in an interview with RTVE that while he understands the competitive context—specifically citing the presence of Rodri in the national team—he desires to be a key player.

Zubimendi's involvement at Arsenal has decreased significantly compared to the previous season. His reduced minutes are attributed to the emergence of Myles Lewis-Skelly and the arrival of Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle.

Following these developments, former Real Madrid goalkeeper Santi Canizares has suggested that Real Madrid should pursue the midfielder. Canizares argued that Zubimendi possesses the essential qualities to dictate tempo from deep, a role he believes is currently lacking in the Madrid squad.
