Martin Zubimendi seeks transfer to Real Madrid

Arsenal midfielder Martin Zubimendi is reportedly seeking a move to Real Madrid as soon as possible. After joining Arsenal from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2025 for approximately £60 million, the 27-year-old Spain international has struggled to secure a consistent starting role.

Zubimendi has seen his playing time diminish, totaling only 197 minutes across eight appearances this season. Reports suggest his representatives are looking to gauge Real Madrid's interest in the midfielder to provide tactical support for players like Jude Bellingham and Kylian Mbappé.

While the player is keen on the move, Arsenal maintains control over his future. Any potential transfer would depend on the club's willingness to accept a departure and whether the deal is structured as a permanent transfer or through other means.
