Martín Zubimendi linked to Real Madrid and Chelsea transfers

Arsenal midfielder Martín Zubimendi is reportedly seeking a move away from London due to reduced playing time following the arrival of Bruno Guimarães. The 27-year-old Spanish international has emerged as a target for both Real Madrid and Chelsea.

Reports suggest Real Madrid views Zubimendi as a key part of their midfield planning for 2027, with a potential transfer structure involving €60 million in fixed fees plus €15 million in variables. While no official offer has been made, Zubimendi is said to favor a move to the Spanish club.

Alternatively, Chelsea is reportedly preparing a bid of approximately €70 million (£60 million) for the midfielder during the January transfer window. Zubimendi has allegedly given his approval to Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso, though negotiations between the two London rivals have not yet officially commenced.
