Martyr Le Dinh Van's remains returned to family after 45 years

In Thien Nhan commune, Nghe An province, a funeral ceremony was held on September 1 for the remains of martyr Le Dinh Van. Van, who served in the 309th Division, died on March 15, 1981, while defending the country's Southwest border.

His 104-year-old mother, Tran Thi Chin, attended the ceremony in a wheelchair to witness the return of her son's remains after 45 years. The family noted that despite her age and frail health, she had spent years mourning and hoping for his return.
