Maruti Suzuki unveils Brezza facelift ahead of July launch
Maruti Suzuki is set to launch the facelifted Brezza compact SUV in India on 23‑24 July, with bookings already open for a nominal Rs 11,000 deposit. Spy photos from dealer yards show a refreshed exterior – a new front grille, reworked bumper, revised LED lighting and fresh alloy‑wheel designs – while the overall silhouette remains unchanged.
The most significant update is a new 1.0‑litre three‑cylinder BoosterJet turbo‑petrol engine, likely paired with a six‑speed manual gearbox, replacing the existing five‑speed unit. Inside, the top‑spec ZXi+ variant is reported to feature a larger 10.1‑inch infotainment screen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, wireless charging and upgraded climate control. Other retained features include a sunroof, 360° camera and connected‑car technologies. The facelift aims to keep the Brezza competitive against rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Mahindra XUV300.
