Maruti Suzuki reports 40% sales surge and unveils June discounts up to ₹2.15 lakh
In May 2026, Maruti Suzuki recorded total sales of 190,337 units, a 40 % year‑on‑year increase from May 2025’s 135,962 units. The company’s best‑selling model was the Dzire with 24,546 units sold, followed by the Fronx (20,686 units), Ertiga (20,350 units), Baleno (18,396 units) and Wagon R (18,076 units). Other models such as Swift, Vitara Brezza, Eeco, Alto and Jimny also contributed to the strong performance.
For June 2026, Maruti Suzuki announced promotional offers across its lineup, providing total benefits of up to ₹2.15 lakh on the premium MPV Invicto. Discounts of up to ₹90,000 are available on the Grand Vitara hybrid, with additional road‑tax waivers and five‑year extended warranties on select variants. Other models receiving offers include the Grand Vitara (up to ₹1.35 lakh), Baleno (₹40,000), Fronx (₹25,000), Jimny (₹45,000), and entry‑level cars such as Alto, Swift, Brezza, Wagon R, S‑Presso, Celerio and Eeco (₹35,000‑₹55,000).
