Maruti Suzuki to launch 2026 Baleno facelift in September

Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch the 2026 Baleno facelift, which is expected to arrive in the first week of September. The update aims to strengthen the automaker's premium hatchback lineup ahead of the festive season.

The facelift is anticipated to include cosmetic enhancements such as a redesigned front grille, slimmer LED headlamps, a revised bumper, and new 16-inch alloy wheels. While the dimensions are expected to remain unchanged, the interior may feature updated upholstery, revised dashboard trims, a larger infotainment system, and a fully digital instrument cluster.

Under the hood, the model is expected to continue offering the 1.2L Dual VVT petrol engine alongside a potential 1.0L Boosterjet turbocharged petrol engine. There are also indications that the Baleno may incorporate Maruti’s new affordable hybrid technology to improve efficiency and competitiveness against rivals like the Hyundai i20 and Tata Altroz.
