Maruti Suzuki to raise prices of all Indian models by up to ₹30,000 from June 2026

Maruti Suzuki India announced in a regulatory filing that it will increase the on‑road prices of its entire passenger‑car portfolio by up to ₹30,000 per vehicle, effective June 2026. The hike applies to models sold through both its Arena and Nexa channels, including the Alto K10, S‑Presso, Celerio, WagonR, Eeco, Swift, Dzire, Ertiga, Brezza and premium models such as the Baleno, Fronx, Grand Vitara, Jimny, XL6, Invicto and the e‑Vitara electric car.

The company said the increase reflects sustained pressure from rising raw‑material costs – notably steel, aluminium and precious metals – as well as broader commodity‑inflation and higher operating expenses. It noted a previous price rise in April 2025 of up to ₹62,000 and explained that despite recent cost‑cutting measures, the current market conditions make the price adjustment necessary.
