Marvel Comics integrates Miracleman into main continuity

Marvel Comics has officially integrated the character Miracleman into its main continuity in the comic Avengers: Armageddon #4. After years of legal complexities and narrative teases, the character has made his debut, though not as the traditional Mike Moran.

In this new iteration, Miracleman is revealed to be David Colton, a character previously introduced in Chip Zdarsky’s Captain America run. Colton was a soldier who participated in the Super Soldier Program following the events of 9/11 and served in Iraq and Afghanistan. His history includes a controversial mission in Latveria that resulted in significant casualties and a confrontation with Steve Rogers.

During the Armageddon event, Colton was healed by an Origin Box and subsequently transformed into Miracleman after a confrontation involving Red Hulk. This development concludes a long-term narrative buildup regarding the character's place within the Marvel Universe.
