Marvel Comics Miracleman continuity integration

Overview

Marvel Comics has integrated the character Miracleman into its primary continuity through the events of ‘Avengers: Armageddon #4’. This development resolves long-standing legal and narrative isolation of the character within the Marvel Universe.

In this new iteration, the Miracleman mantle is assumed by David Colton, a soldier and former Captain America who participated in the Super Soldier Program. Following a confrontation involving Red Hulk and being healed by an ‘Origin Box’, Colton underwent a transformation granting him godlike powers.

Editor Wil Moss indicated that writer Chip Zdarsky intends for Colton’s new status to impact both the Avengers and the broader Marvel narrative, with storylines set to continue in upcoming releases.
