Maserati revamps GranTurismo, GranCabrio and Grecale for 2027

Maserati has unveiled a mid‑life refresh for its three core models – the GranTurismo coupe, GranCabrio convertible and Grecale compact SUV – as part of the brand’s 2027 lineup. All three receive a more aggressive front‑end design inspired by the MCXtrema hyper‑car, featuring a reshaped grille, “shark‑nose” bumper and new LED lighting signatures. New alloy‑wheel designs, additional paint colours and updated interior trim options are also introduced.

Powertrains are upgraded across the range. The 3.0‑litre twin‑turbo Nettuno V6 now produces 390 hp in the base Grecale and Modena versions, while the high‑performance Trofeo trim gains 40 hp, raising output to 590 hp (about 440 kW) for the GranTurismo and GranCabrio and to 530 hp for the Grecale. The all‑electric Folgore versions keep their three‑motor 800‑volt architecture but benefit from revised energy‑management software and an AWD‑disconnect system, extending WLTP range to roughly 540–580 km depending on wheel size.

Inside, Maserati adds a new sport‑styled steering wheel, metal‑trimmed PRND selector, larger digital displays and an upgraded Maserati Digital Clock. Driver‑assist features now include a fatigue‑monitoring system and new driving modes such as “Country”. The updates are presented as the first step in a broader brand reset ahead of 2030, with the company also confirming that Maserati remains under Stellantis ownership and is exploring additional models and strategic partnerships.
