Maserati unveils Track Assist technology for GT2 Stradale
Maserati has introduced Track Assist, a new driving assistance technology developed in collaboration with the Italian startup AS. CAR. I. The system was debuted on the GT2 Stradale during the Motorsports Club of Clubs event in Tampa, Florida.
The technology, centered around the Active Performance Control (APC) module, is designed specifically for circuit driving rather than daily road use. It works by communicating with the vehicle’s integrated braking system to actively manage braking and acceleration. This assistance aims to help drivers identify effective braking points, reduce errors, and maintain optimal speed through corners.
Currently in the integration, calibration, and validation phase, the technology is intended to support driver learning rather than replace human control. Starting in 2027, the system is expected to be integrated into the Master Maserati Driving Experience program.
