Maserati product and technology expansion
Overview
Maserati has introduced new vehicle models and specialized driving technology. In Florida, the company debuted ‘Maserati Project Track Assist by AS. CAR. I’, a driving assistance system developed with the Italian start-up AS. CAR. I. Designed for track use, the system utilizes Active Performance Control to manage acceleration and braking, helping drivers refine racing techniques.
In India, Maserati expanded its market presence by launching an updated vehicle portfolio and a new showroom in Mumbai. The lineup includes the facelifted Grecale SUV, the GranTurismo coupe, and the GranCabrio convertible. Additionally, the brand introduced the GT2 Stradale, a limited-edition, road-legal supercar based on the MC20, which features a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged Nettuno V6 engine.
The GT2 Stradale is limited to 914 units globally and produces between 622 and 640hp. It includes track-focused aerodynamic enhancements, such as a large rear wing capable of generating 500kg of downforce at 280kmph. To support these launches, Maserati partnered with Navnit Maserati to open a showroom in the Bandra Kurla Complex in Mumbai.
The Track Assist technology, which was debuted on the GT2 Stradale during an event in Tampa, Florida, is currently in the integration, calibration, and validation phase. Designed to support driver learning rather than replace human control, the system is expected to be integrated into the Master Maserati Driving Experience program starting in 2027.
