Masovian Voivode allocates 5 million PLN to ZHP for civil defense

The Masovian Voivode has allocated 5 million PLN to the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP) through the Population Protection and Civil Defense Program (OLiOC). The funding is split equally, with 2.5 million PLN going to the Masovian Banner and 2.5 million PLN to the Capital Banner.

The Masovian Banner will use its funds to renovate a population protection warehouse in Gorzewo, which can provide shelter for 200 people, and purchase equipment such as mattresses, power generators, and sanitary containers. The Capital Banner will invest in tents, sleeping equipment, and kitchen trailers, as well as renovations at the Training and Recreation Center in Stara Dąbrowa, including electrical and lighting upgrades.

Voivode Mariusz Frankowski stated that these investments aim to increase resilience to threats and support rescue and relief operations in cooperation with local governments and the State Fire Service.
