Masovian Voivode civil defense funding
Overview
The Masovian Voivode has allocated 5 million PLN to the Polish Scouting and Guiding Association (ZHP) via the Population Protection and Civil Defense Program. The funds are divided equally between the Masovian Banner and the Capital Banner.
Planned expenditures include renovating a population protection warehouse in Gorzewo to provide shelter for 200 people, and purchasing equipment such as generators, mattresses, and sanitary containers. The Capital Banner will invest in tents, kitchen trailers, and electrical upgrades at the Training and Recreation Center in Stara Dąbrowa. Voivode Mariusz Frankowski noted these investments aim to “increase resilience to threats and support rescue and relief operations” alongside local governments and the State Fire Service.
