Massimo Ghini to compete in Ballando con le Stelle

Italian actor and theater director Massimo Ghini is set to join the cast of the Rai 1 program ‘Ballando con le Stelle’ as a contestant. He will be paired with dance instructor Valentina Fiorini for the competition. Ghini previously appeared on the show in 2011 as a ‘dancer for one night’.

Ghini has maintained a private personal life despite his long career in cinema, television, and theater. He has been in a relationship with Paola Romano for over two decades; the couple married in 2002 and have two children, Leonardo and Margherita. Romano, a former costume designer in the entertainment industry, chose to leave her career to focus on her family.

Ghini’s previous relationships include a marriage to actress Nancy Brilli from 1987 to 1990, and a relationship with Federica Lorrai, with whom he has twins, Camilla and Lorenzo.
