Mateusz Morawiecki criticizes Donald Tusk at Rozwoju Plus convention
During the Rozwoju Plus convention held at the Palladium Theatre in Warsaw, former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki delivered a sharp critique of current Prime Minister Donald Tusk. Morawiecki characterized Tusk as a “charlatan” and a “master” of using placeholder topics to avoid addressing essential issues such as employment, wages, housing, and childcare.
Morawiecki argued that his political formation, Rozwoju Plus, is essential for creating a functional government for Poland. He positioned his group as a team of specialists capable of providing stability and professional leadership. He also criticized other political factions, labeling the Civic Coalition and the Left as “anti-American,” PiS and Confederation as “anti-European,” and Grzegorz Braun’s Confederation Korony Polskiej as “pro-Russian and isolationist.”
In his vision for the country, Morawiecki emphasized the importance of large-scale infrastructure projects, including the Central Communication Port (CPK), the Izera project, and container ports such as the one in Świnoujście, to enhance Poland's economic strength and prestige.
