Mateusz Morawiecki demands security details following CIA report

Former Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki has called on Prime Minister Donald Tusk to disclose specific details regarding Poland's preparedness for potential Russian provocations, sabotage, and other security threats. This demand follows Tusk's announcement that he received a document from the CIA concerning potential developments in the coming months.

Tusk indicated that Poland and Europe must prepare for various scenarios involving the Russia-Ukraine war and the security of NATO's eastern flank. While Morawiecki emphasized the seriousness of receiving such a report from the CIA, he accused Tusk of attempting to incite fear and demanded a meeting with parliamentary club leaders to discuss the actual state of national security and the readiness of critical infrastructure, including energy, telecommunications, and transport networks.
