Mato Grosso agribusiness launches AgroFestival and unveils Casa do Agro exhibit in São Paulo
The Associação dos Produtores de Soja e Milho de Mato Grosso (Aprosoja MT) installed the interactive Casa do Agro Brasileiro at Shopping Cidade São Paulo on 25 May. The exhibit, designed as a house, demonstrates how soy, corn and other agribusiness products are present in everyday items such as food, cosmetics, medicines, cleaning supplies, furniture, paints and fuels. Fiscal councilor Juliana Barbosa emphasized that the project helps demystify agriculture for urban residents, and comedian Gui Santana highlighted his personal ties to the countryside while defending the sector’s environmental practices.
In Cuiabá, municipal authorities inaugurated the first edition of the Mato Grosso AgroFestival at Parque Novo Mato Grosso on 27 May. The three‑day event, scheduled for 7‑9 August, will combine agribusiness trade activities, cultural performances, religious celebrations and a professional bull‑riding competition. Organized by the city’s culture department in partnership with the state government, the Institute Cordemato and the Ministry of Sport, the festival aims to attract thousands of visitors and showcase regional identity, food, music and business opportunities.
