Mato Grosso do Sul council approves R$107 million FCO investment program
The Conselho Estadual dos Investimentos Financiáveis pelo Fundo Constitucional do Centro Oeste (CEIF/FCO) met in an extraordinary hybrid session on Monday, 27th, to approve new financing. Thirty‑eight consultation letters were approved, allocating R$103,539,691.49 to the rural line and R$4,335,000 to the business line, for a total of R$107,874,691.49. This brings the total approved FCO financing for the year to R$1,267,494,475.83 across 632 loan requests.
The approved projects focus on sectors such as acquisition of machines (12 projects), aviculture (6), seed acquisition (4), soil correction (4), pasture renovation (2), citriculture (2), construction, irrigation, and swine farming, among others. The investments cover municipalities including Campo Grande, Corumbá, Ponta Porã and several others in the state. For 2026, the Superintendência de Desenvolvimento da Região Centro Oeste (Sudeco) earmarked R$3,028,102,274 for Mato Grosso do Sul, split evenly between the rural and business lines. CEIF/FCO operates under the Secretaria de Assistência e Desenvolvimento Econômico (Semadesc) to promote regional economic and social development.
