Mato Grosso do Sul futsal teams honored and set for regional competition

The boys' futsal team of Escola Estadual Professora Dóris Mendes Trindade from Aquidauana was received by the municipal mayor after winning the state Youth Games undefeated in the 12‑14 age category. The honor highlighted their upcoming participation in the national School Games, representing Mato Grosso do Sul.

Meanwhile, the city of Rochedo will host a regional stage of the Jogos Abertos de Mato Grosso do Sul on June 26‑27. The event features male futsal squads from Corguinho, Coxim, Figueirão, Rochedo and São Gabriel do Oeste and is organized by the state government’s Fundesporte and Setesc, with the final phase slated for November in Campo Grande.
